Day Excursion to Agra
 
Delhi-Agra-Delhi

Early morning breakfast and, after breakfast, drive to Agra proceeds for full day excursion and combined sightseeing.

Upon arrival in Agra, visit the magnificent red fort, built during the reign of Akbar, the 3rd Moghul Emperor of India. The fort is built in red sandstone on the banks of river Yamuna. Inside the fort, there are some beautiful palaces constructed by different moghul emperors at different stages, most notably are the palaces constructed in white marble, by Shahjahan, the 5th Mughal Emperor.

Later in the afternoon, proceed to visit Taj Mahal, built by the Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631. One of the most beautiful monuments of India never fails to amaze a first time visitor. As soon as you traverse the red sandstone entrance gate, you see the striking contrast of white marble with green grass and the blue sky in the backdrop of the Taj. The white marble exterior changes colour according to the position of the sun during the day and is matched by the rich interior detail.

Later drive back to your hotel in Dellhi

Delhi-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra-Delhi

Before Agra take a diversion to Fatehpur sikri, One of the ancient capitals of Great Moghuls, now classified as a world Heritage monument.

The whole complex was buit by the Emperor Akbar in 16th century, the red stone abundantly used in the city was quarried from the nearby places. The whole capital city was abandoned in the late 16th century due to the shortage of water, because the artificial lake near the city dried up. From then, this capital in known as ghost city.

Delhi-Jaipur-Delhi

Early morning drive to Jaipur.

Enroute Jaipur, stopover break for refreshment and snacks. Few kilometers before Jaipur city, visit the magnificent, Amer fort. The fort is constructed in the outskirts of Jaipur city and surrounded by the hillock which served this fort as natural defense walls. The construction dates back to 15th century AD, by the Rajput Kachhwaha clans. There are some beautiful palaces inside the fort, among which the most beautiful is Sheesh Mahal, the palace of mirrors, where thousands of small pieces of mirrors are beautiful carved and inlayed in the white stucco work. It is a breeze to visit this Palace.

After the visit of this fort, proceed to the city, you can have a lunch break and after lunch, visit the City Palace and the most famous astronomical observatory known as Jantar- Mantar. Later, visit the colourful market of Jaipur by walk and experience the animated and bustling market of Pink city, Jaipur.

By evening, drive back to Delhi and overnight in your hotel in Delhi.

Day Tours from Bangalore
 
Bangalore-Mysore-Bangalore

Early morning, after the breakfast, drive to Mysore, Enroute stop to refresh yourself and continue to drive to Mysore.

Upon arrival visit the famous Devaraj fruits, flowers & vegetable market, This is supposed to be the most colourful local markets in South India.

Later visit the magnificent Palace of wodeyar kings, built in the beginning of 20th century. A stopover for lunch in the city. In the afternoon visit the Chamundi hill temple, also visit, one the largest monolithic sculpted Nandi(the Shiva's bull) on the Chamundi hills.

Later drive to Bangalore and drop at your hotel.

Bangalore-Halebid and Belur-Banglore

Early morning drive to Halebid via Hassan (almost 4hours drive from Bangalore). Upon arrival at Halebid, visit the famous Hoysaleswara temple, built in 12th and 13th century during the Hoysala dynasty was on its prime.

Later visit the Belur temple, here you see the different style of architecture but also built during the Hoysala period. Later drive back to Bangalore and drop at your hotel

Day Tour from Chennai
 
Chennai-Kanchipuram-Mahabalipuram

After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram, the ancient capital of Pallava dynasty, before settling in Mahabalipuram.

This is also one of the oldest silk saree weaving centres in South India. The city is doted with hundreds of temples, thus also know as temple town. Out of these many temples, there are few which are quite famous and dates back to 06th and 08th century AD, one temple known as kailasanath, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the finest examples of Dravidian architectures, where a temple is constructed into a pyramidal shape with lots of stone carvings on the walls of temples and often enclosed by the nicely sculpted wall with niches all over the wall, housing many statues of deities. Later visit Ekamberasvar temple also, initially built by Pallavas but there is lot of contribution of Vijayanagare kings.

Drive towards Mahabalipuram, the second ancient capital of Pallavas, known for its Shore temple, Five rathas temples ( in the form of chariots) and some richly sculpted bas-reliefs rocks as well. Among the famous bas-reliefs, there is one know as Arjuna's penance, where most of the sculpted scenes are taken from the Hindu mythological scripture, Mahabarata.

After the visit drive back to Chennai and drop at your hotel.

Chennai-Tirupathi-Chennai

After breakfast drive to Tirupathi, one of the most famous pilgrim centres for Hindus in South India, and also one of the richest among temples of India. The temple known as Tirumal Venkatesvra temple, is situated in the hill town of Tirumala. The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, one of the reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.

The temple receives nearly 50,000 to 100,000 pilgrims everyday and nearl 30 to 40 million annually, making it one of the most visited temples in the world.

One of the most famous rituals of this temple is the offering of hairs to this temple, many pilgrims coming to this temple get their head shaved and offer their hairs to the deities.

The temple also offers a special kind of round shaped holy sweet cake known as laddu prasadam. After the visit and darshan, drive back to Chennai.

Day Tour from Mumbai
 
Mumbai-Elephanta caves-Mumbai

Early morning pick up from the Hotel and drive to the gateway of India, from where you take a public Ferry to Elephanta island. It is almost one hour sailing upto the island, and to reach upto the footsteps of Elephanta caves, you can take a small toy train as well, or can walk.

These cave temples are classified and World Heritage monuments by UNESCO, and all the caves and statues are rock cut monoliths. Since there is no inscription found on the caves, the exact period of the construction cannot be determined, only after the excavation done by the archaeologists an estimate can be made that these caves and statues were carved between 4th to 7th century AD. Most of the carvings and statues are of Lord Shiva the principal Hindu deity. The statues were carved meticulously with a perfection, as these statues and pillars are carved out on the rocks, it would have been engineering marvel during that period. One can easily pass hours while visiting these wonderfully carved statues.

After the visit, take a public ferry and drive back to Mumbai, Gateway of India. Drop at your hotel.
