Delhi to Manali (2000 m) 570 kms / 16 hours |
Full day sightseeing in Delhi, evening transfer Chaderlok Building (Connaught Place) in order to board overnight Bus to Manali, Overnight on Board.

DAY 03 |
Explore Manali |
Morning arrive into Manali, check in hotel, Visit old Manali, Hadimba temple, Shiva temple and monastery in town are main attraction, afternoon free in town, Night in hotel. |

DAY 04 |
Manali - Udaipur (150 Kms) |
After breakfast drive over Rohtang pass 3900meters. While descending down to the Lahoul valley, one could have breathtaking glimpse of C: B snowcapped range, follow of Chandra River until Tandy Bridge, from here the confluence of Chandra and Bhaga river s become the Chenab .Scenic Chenab valley leads a bifurcation to ancient Hindu - Buddhist temple at Trilokinath dedicated to Shiva. At Udaipur 11th century old wooden temple of Mrikula Devi will be visited, ceiling of the temple has wonderful wooden carving depicting the Ramayana and Mahabharata, night in camp. |
DAY 05 |
Udaipur – Ragpa (3000 M) 4 hr, (Trek 1) |
After breakfast drive to Sansa. It takes around 1 hour drive to reach at Sansa by jeep. Now we will start trek and after 3 hours we will reach at Raga Village, Overnight stay in Camp at Ragapa. |
DAY 06 |
Ragpa - Kurdu (3500 m) 6 hr, (Trek 2) |
The trek involves a number of ridge crossing and glacier walking. The trail is not easy to follow because of rocky path and glacier moraine makes it really adventurous. Finally we reach at Kurd. Over night stay in camp. |
DAY 07 |
Kurdu - Lahesh Cave Over Kugti Pass 5040 mats, 6 to 7 hr, (Trek 3 ) |
The excitement and adventure reach to the peak when you cross Kugti pass. You should start early in the morning so that you can reach the pass before the sunrise. It takes about 4 hours to reach the pass. It is a steep climb up to the pass. Before the pass is a big glacier with some hidden and some open craves. You need good equipment and a trained guide to walk over this glacier. Stay overnight in Camp. |
DAY 08 |
Lahesh Cave - Kugti Gote (2590m) 6 hr, (Trek 4 ) |
This is gradual trek to reach Kugti Gate, mean where local (Gaddhi) shepherd use that place for stay during their trip to Lahoul while passing their route toward summer pasture. Stay overnight in Camp. |
DAY 09 |
Kugti Gote - Kugti Village (3200) 5-6 hr, (Trek 5) |
It’s descending day, through Keylong temple to reach first village at Trivial Chamba. It is called Kugti village. It has shops and a Civil Dispensary. The people of the village belong to Gaddhi tribal and are very helpful. Village is inhabited by approximately 1000 People. Stay overnight in camp. |
DAY 10 |
Kugti Village - Harsar and DanChho (3200m) 6 hr. (Trek 6) |
It is 3 hours gradual trek to reach at Harsar which is linked with road and 3 hours trek again to reach to Danchho. Stay overnight in camp. |
DAY 11 |
Danchho - Manimahesh Lake. (4000m) 5 hr, (Trek 7) |
The gaining altitude trek reaches Manimahesh Lake which is sacred for the Sheperds (Gaddhis). situated on the altitude of 3950 m. and 35 km far from here. This important pilgrimage place is situated at the foot of the Manimahesh Kailash ( 5575 m) ; Thousands of pilgrims meet every year on the 15 Days following Janmashtamy (Krishna birthday) which use to held on Aug or Sep, depending on the Hindu calendar . Overnight in Camp. |
DAY 12 |
Manimahesh - Bharmour 6 - 7 hr, (Trek 8.) |
Today trail continue descend until we reach at Bharmour. Bharmaur, Known as Shive Bhumi and the heart of Gaddi's country. It was the capital of the once sovereign state of Bharmaur (Now Chamba) from seventh to tenth century. It is famous for ancient temples, which are 1300 years old and reminet of the golden age that this place has seen. There are altogether 84 Temples big and small, which attend on a small plateau in the centre of town called Chaurasi (means 84), visite the temple complex and village, night in hotel in simple hotel . |
DAY 13/14 |
Bharmaur - Chamba: 60 kms. Drive, hotel. |
Early drive to Chamba, Name of Chamba derived from Champavati, daughter of Raja ShailaVerma (A.D. 920) Geographically Chamba is situated in the bottom of the middle Himalaya. it has been preserved its identity during the period when the plains of India were ravaged by the fanatical hordes from Afganistan and from central Asia. Due to its remoteness the peoples of Chamba valley has been preserved their cultural, social and religion structure. It is well known as the country of milk and honey. The town is hanged suspended high above the Ravi river on the flat mountain shelf. Chamba profusion of temples with the grassy plateau, called Chaugan, situated in the centre. Festival and fair are used to held here, and Gaddi (Shepherds) with maidens decked with silver ornaments and the Gujar milk man resembling the peoples from central Asia can be seen roaming in the streets The temples of Chamba are noble specimens of hindu architecture. Visit the temple of Vishnu and Lakshmi, Surara temples. Close by is the Brajreshwari Devi temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga. These temple are constructed in the of traditional shikhara style and is known for intricate carvings on its surface. Chamunda Devi Temple is located on a hill overlooking the town. The Rangmahal or the Old Palace houses the Himachal Emporium, one can buy handicraft items here. The Museum Bhuri Singh has a good collection of artefacts of this region and the collection of traditional miniature paintings. One can find the painting of Chamba in Munsee Guimet in Paris. |
DAY 15 |
Chamba - Kwarsi (2730) 6 hr, One hour drive & (Trek 9) |
After breakfast drive to lamu Village and further trek to kwarsi. A footpath is developed and few small wooden bridges are made at few risky spots to ease the trekkers and local people. |
DAY 16 |
Kuwarsi - Chhatta Gote (3700m) 6 hr, (Trek 10) |
This stretch involves a total ascend of 6km. At some places the route is trackless and provide little foothold on exposed rocks. There are pasturelands where nomadic gaddis stays for longer time to graze their flocks of sheep and goats. |
DAY 17 |
Chhatta Gate - Lahesh Cave Over Inderhar Pass (3700 m) 6 hr, (Trek 11) |
The trek to the pass is long and goes over soft snow and a number of icy streams covered with hard snow have to be negotiated. The pass provides a very scenic view of both Kangra and Chamba valleys and offers distant view of the Middle and Greater Himalayas. |
DAY 18 |
Lahesh Cave to Mecleodganj (1850m) 6 hr, (Trek 12) |
Today continue descend in direction of South. Scenic view of Kangra Valley and Pong dam. There are some mud huts made by Gaddi (shepherds). Spectacular view of alpine meadows and Deodar trees. Evening reach at Mecleodganj called little Lahasa. Night in hotel. |
DAY 19 |
Visit Dharamsala, (1830m.) Departure to Delhi |
A former colonial retreat, Mcleodganj rose to prominance after the large scale exodus of Tibetan from their homeland in 1959. It is a residence of (OCEAN OF TRANQUILITY). His Holiness the Dalai Lama with the backdrop of the majestic Dhauladhar mountains. The Tibetan Government in exile has been based here for over three and half decades. With traditional architecture designs drawn from Tibet the impressive Namgyal monastery is surrounded by row of prayer wheels and houses large life images of the Budha, Padmasambhava and Avalokteshwara. if time permit Tibetan handicraft centre can be visited. Afternoon board bus in order to drive to Delhi. Overnight on Board. |
DAY 20 |
Arrive Delhi and Departure to IGI Airport |
Arrive into Delhi & transfer to hotel, day free, check out time 12 noon, evening transfer to airport flight to onward destination. |
