This is the oldest golf club in Delhi, established by the British in 1931. One can tee off from the shadows of the Lodhi Dynasty tombs or get held up because a peacock decides to perch itself on the green.

The Origin of Rambagh Golf Club dates back to October 1944 with its history steeped in Royal Background. Rajmata Gayatri Devi is the founder member and life long captain of the club. A brown course, the JCW Golf Course is laid out within the Race Course at Mysore. The size of the course is one hundred acres. Krishnarajaa Wadiyar, the Prince of Mysore, started the course and maintained it until he lost his privy purse. With a par rating of 63 when it was started, it is 70 today. The course is out of bounds during the racing season in Mysore.
The two major tournaments conducted here are Maharaja's Tournament and Addicts Golfing Society of Southern India. |

Trivandrum golf course is laid out in the 1850s during the days of the late Maharajah Sreemoolam Tirunal, is one of the oldest in the country and is more than 150 years old. The royal family of erstwhile Travancore had established this golf course even before the Americans and the Europeans took to the game. The nine-hole golf course here is one of the smallest in the country, but one of the prettiest. The 25-acre course has over 3,400 trees belonging to over 1,000 species and is one of the green lungs of the city. A well maintained course with mostly straight and wide fairways. The greens are small and cut roughly. And hazards are few. Sand traps lie around the greens. As such the Trivandrum Golf Club is a nice and friendly course which leaves one refreshing & soothing. |

The Tollygunge Club was founded by a Scottish banker, William Dixon Cruickshank to provide facilities for games, sports and pastimes in the neighbourhood of Calcutta. The club is located in Tollygunge a southern suburb of Kolkata only 9 kms from the centre of the city. The Clubhouse and surrounding areas carry a rich store of legends, anecdotes and memories and the Club has inherited a tradition of sports from its inception in 1895.
