Day 01 — Colombo Arrival
Arrive in Colombo, Sri Lanka’s coastal capital, where historic colonial buildings and a contemporary urban skyline exist side by side. Meet your local representative and transfer to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxed introduction to the city. Colombo’s atmosphere is shaped by its commercial energy, oceanfront setting and layers of architectural history. The remainder of the day is at leisure to settle into your surroundings.

Day 02 — Colombo to Kandy
After breakfast, continue your exploration of Colombo before departing for Kandy, Sri Lanka’s historic cultural centre.
Spend time discovering the city’s distinctive character, with its colonial-era architecture, bustling markets and lively urban streets. Later, travel inland towards Kandy through the changing landscapes of Sri Lanka’s interior.
On arrival, settle into your hotel. In the evening, experience a traditional cultural performance featuring music and dance, offering an introduction to the island’s living artistic traditions.

Day 03 — Kandy to Waskaduwa
Begin the morning with a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Kandy’s most important Buddhist sites and a central expression of the city’s spiritual heritage.
Afterwards, depart Kandy and travel towards the western coast. The journey gradually leaves the hill country behind as the landscape changes towards Sri Lanka’s tropical coastal belt.
Arrive in Waskaduwa and check into your coastal resort. The remainder of the day is free to enjoy the surroundings and the Indian Ocean setting.

Day 04 — Waskaduwa
Enjoy a leisurely day on the coast.
With no scheduled sightseeing, take time to experience Waskaduwa at your own pace. Relax beside the Indian Ocean, enjoy the resort facilities, walk along the beach or simply appreciate the changing colours of the tropical coastline.
The day provides a deliberate contrast to the cultural exploration and travelling of the preceding days, allowing the journey to conclude with an unhurried coastal interlude.

Day 05 — Waskaduwa to Kalutara / Departure
After breakfast, check out and begin your departure transfer towards Kalutara and the airport for your onward international journey.
As the journey comes to a close, there is time to reflect on the contrasting experiences of Sri Lanka — from Colombo’s urban and colonial character, through Kandy’s cultural traditions, to the relaxed atmosphere of the western coast.
